In October 2007 the
government of
El
Salvador issued the Salvadorian Quality Norm
for Balsam of El Salvador (Peru Balsam). The document includes the Good
Practices for the Extraction and Manufacture of the Product. The sector is
working in the training of the producers of Balsam of El Salvador in order to
implement the practices defined in the document.
